The North Harris County Regional Water Authority (NHCRWA) Rate was originally set to increase from the current rate of $3.85 to $4.25 on April 1st, 2020. However At a special meeting of the Authority held on Monday, April 20th, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of the Authority approved the postponement of the pumpage fee and surface water rate increases from April 1, 2020 to July 1, 2020.

Be Water Smart
If your bill seems high, check your home for leaks. Toilets are the most common culprits. Put a small amount of food coloring in the back tank of the toilet. If the color appears in the bowl, you could have a leaking flapper.
